Animazoo Studio Facilities Extend to Offer the IGS-190H

Animazoo’s extensive studio facilities now include the option of using its new IGS-190H (Hybrid) system. The IGS-190H is the new optical quality hybrid motion capture system.

The IGS-190H combines the powerful features of the existing IGS-190M (Mobile) with the new sonar system, ExacTrax.

Animazoo mocap services can capture up to 4 people simultaneously and can deliver with or without gray-scenes - so retargeting will be our worry, not yours.

The IGS-190H was recently used by Twelve Interactive, a leading Italian console game developer for its second multi-platform title, Martial Arts: Capoeira. Three capoeira champions from Soluna, Rome’s foremost capoeira group, were used to record the gravity-defying martial arts. Twelve Interactive brought the work to Animazoo after they had received an unaffordable quotation for the job from two optical service bureaus in the UK and USA, due to the major cleaning work involved.

Martial Arts: Capoeira will be released on Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, PlayStation®2, PSP™ and PC by Graffiti Entertainment in Q4 2008.
