‘I wanted a system that could not only produce realistic animation but could be used in a small space and easy to use. Price was also a major consideration when I started my search. I had found a much cheaper optical system from Ipisoft as that was within my original budget. However the downside of needing a relatively large capture area for a small range of movement stopped me from buying their system.
I chose Animazoo as their system was an inertial motion capture system that did not require a minimum capture volume, that was easy to set up and that did not require calibration with each use. As I will be using the IGS-150 to animate characters for a new 3D animation, the primary benefit of the IGS-150 is to speed up production time whilst creating accurate, realistic animation. The IGS-150 is perfect for this and is a very good product. I look forward to doing business with Animazoo again in the future’.
